Evesham Temporary Demonstration Project
The Township of Evesham, in partnership with Cross County Connection and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) launched a temporary “Complete Streets” Demonstration Project and education campaign at the end of April, continuing through May 2026.
This project features pedestrian safety improvements using temporary, low-cost materials to test infrastructure designed to make streets safer for all users. Many of these materials were provided by the South Jersey Transportation Organization’s Complete Streets Demonstration Library—a new, free resource for South Jersey communities.
A variety of traffic calming measures and pedestrian safety improvements are being tested to evaluate how they improve safety and encourage alternative modes of transportation in Evesham Township.
What’s being tested?
- Wescott Rd: pedestrian refuge island, curb extensions (bump-outs), and a bicycle boulevard
- Brick Rd & Evans Rd intersection: curb radius reduction

Throughout the project, Cross County Connection and Evesham Township will collect feedback from residents and travelers through online surveys to help determine what works best and inform potential permanent improvements.
