2026 TDM Grants

Cross County Connection Awards 2026 TDM Grants to Nine Member Projects

The TDM Grant Program provides eligible CCCTMA members with an incentive to implement transportation improvements and strategies that reduce

reliance on single-occupancy vehicles, improve access to public transportation, and support safer walking and bicycling.

Cross County Connection Transportation Management Association (CCCTMA) is pleased to announce that all nine applicants to its 2026 Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Grant Program were awarded grant reimbursements to support projects that improve transportation options, enhance safety, and encourage more sustainable travel throughout South Jersey and the surrounding region.

2026 TDM Grant Recipients and Projects:

PATCO will install eight Rectangular Rapid-Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) at its Lindenwold and Haddonfield stations. These beacons, along with new reflective signs, will help increase driver awareness and encourage motorists to yield to pedestrians at station entrances and exits.

Borough of Collingswood will purchase bollards for highly traveled intersections to create safer conditions for bicyclists navigating turning lanes. The project will also include crosswalk restriping to improve pedestrian visibility and safety throughout the borough.

Pennsville Township will make its temporary traffic-calming demonstration project permanent. Following the installation of the demonstration on November 2025, the township will paint the crosswalks tested in the demo with highly visible and durable thermoplastic.  They will also install Stop for Pedestrian signs.

Township of Winslow will address overgrown vegetation along Williamstown Road near the NJ TRANSIT park-and-ride bus station. The township plans to hire a contractor to clear trees, shrubs, and grass along the county right-of-way, improving the corridor for the many pedestrians who walk to and from the transit station.

Voorhees Township will support its Pedestrian and Bike Lane Improvements Project, which improves access to the Ashland PATCO station. The broader NJDOT-sponsored Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) project includes constructing a bicycle route along Somerdale Road, Preston Avenue, and Fairview Avenue, completing missing sidewalk segments along Evesham Road and Somerdale Road, and making additional improvements to traffic signals, signage, pavement markings, and bicycle parking.

Evesham Township will use grant funding to help offset the cost of a comprehensive update to the circulation element of its Master Plan. The township’s Planning Board is gathering community input as part of the revision, going beyond the minimum requirements of the Municipal Land Use Law to help shape future transportation and land-use planning.

Burlington County will enhance its in-house Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities through the purchase of a Trimble Catalyst GPS receiver. The equipment will support precise data collection for transportation and infrastructure improvements, including identifying county-owned storm drains that need bicycle-safe grates, documenting signage along county routes, and collecting information on transit-related improvements such as dynamic message signs, school crossings, and pedestrian push-button signals.

Camden County will use grant funding to offset the cost of GIS software, supporting its efforts to manage geographic data and assist with transportation planning and infrastructure-related work.

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor will purchase a laptop and docking station to give employees greater flexibility to work remotely. By supporting telework, the project aims to reduce single-occupancy vehicle commuting and help minimize peak-hour traffic congestion.
