It Pay$ to Plug In offers grants to help cover the cost of purchasing and installing EV charging stations. The program is designed to help expand New Jersey’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Reimbursement amounts by charging station type are as follows:
Funded through the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), the New Jersey Zero Emissions Incentive Program (NJZIP) will provide vouchers of up to $175,000 to businesses and organizations to purchase new zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles (MHDV). NJZIP is the state’s first effort to support zero-emission MHDVs. The pilot program sets aside $165 million for vouchers. The size of the voucher will vary depending on the class of vehicle being purchased.
