Most counties in southern NJ have community bus/shuttle services that provide fixed route service to any individual regardless of residence or age. These services connect passengers to employment sites, schools/colleges, shopping areas, social services, recreational facilities and other locations. The operating hours and days vary for each community bus service so it is important that you carefully review the bus schedules.

All of the services charge a small fare to ride and connect to NJ TRANSIT bus routes and/or rail stations. In some cases, a transfer agreement has been established with NJ TRANSIT so passengers using the community bus and NJ TRANSIT receive discounted fares.

All of the Community Bus Services are accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs.

For information on these community bus services, click on the county in which you wish to travel. A table will appear showing basic information about each community bus route. For more detailed information, click on the community bus service’s schedule.
