Effective Monday, January 3, 2012, the BurLink bus system will be operated by the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA).  All bus routes, B1, B2, B5, B8, B9, and B10, will continue to operate under the current schedule (minor change to B1).  The BurLink service will continue to be provided by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders.  For questions please contact Cross County Connection at 856-596-8228.

The BCTS is Burlington County’s paratransit service, providing demand responsive, door to door service for senior citizens, persons with disabilities and veterans who reside in Burlington County.  Burlington County residents must complete an application and the service is by reservation only.  Transportation is provided for a variety of trip types including, medical, nutrition, employment and shopping.  The service is operated by SEN HAN Transit a division of Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS).

BurLink Bus Service

The BurLink bus system is a deviated fixed route service providing transportation to the residents, employees and visitors of Burlington County.  The BurLink bus routes connect with many NJ TRANSIT bus routes and the River LINE at the Beverly Rail Station.  Discounted or free transfers between the two services are available. 

This six route bus system is provided by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders and operated by the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA).  Funding is provided by the Federal Transit Administration, NJ TRANSIT and the County of Burlington.

The BurLink buses connect with NJ TRANSIT bus routes and River LINE stations. Transfers are available to/from NJ TRANSIT bus routes and BurLink routes. All BurLink routes are handicapped accessible and have bike racks.

Transfers:

Fares, Connections,
& Transfers

>Transfers between the BurLink and NJ TRANSIT services are available.

To transfer from the BurLink to a NJ TRANSIT bus route or the River LINE:
>Purchase a transfer from the BurLink driver. The transfer costs $0.50.
>Present the transfer to the NJ TRANSIT bus driver or the River LINE fare inspector. This transfer will entitle you to a free one- zone rider

To transfer from a NJ TRANSIT bus route or the River LINE to the BurLink:
>Purchase a transfer from the NJ TRANSIT bus driver or purchase a River LINE ticket with transfer. Present the NJ TRANSIT bus transfer or rail ticket with transfer to the BurLink driver. The valid transfer entitles you to one free ride on the BurLink.
>At BurLink/NJ TRANSIT connecting transfer points only. NJ TRANSIT monthly bus and rail pass holders must pay a $0.50 transfer fee to transfer from a NJ TRANSIT bus or the River LINE. At all other bus stops, the trip costs $2.00.
